Love for the unborn.....

When they say they beautiful ones aren't born yet, they obviously mean until my nephew is born soon right?

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. As per my previous post, thanks so much for all the advice. I actually have one I'm going with and yes it requires me saying something to the offender young lady.

For those who were doubting the authenticity of my New York Trip (#subliminal at Mizchif and Sirius), I shall post pictures here.

Not only was Labour Weekend for fun for me, I also Planned a Baby Shower for my amazing sister cousin. I have never see anyone do pregnant as good as she does it. Not only was determined to break stereotypes, she looked better than non-pregger individuals! Let's just say that I am not longer terrified of pregnancy however far away it may be! lol.


As this was my first baby shower planning with ifie and a few of Yvonne's friends, it was truly an experience. I feel that it is my civic duty to share what we did for people in my position looking for baby shower ideas etc.

The Decor


Since it was an 'at-home' shower we stuck to the basics; ribbons, balloons, colored tissue

The Cake

We had a no-cake crises and your darling Ij pitched in this with fun cake. I'm all for DIY and re-usable items. So we ordered cupcakes, purchased a stand and some toy cars since the baby is a boy. This way people had choice of cupcake flavour, the cupcake stand is re-usable, the baby we are expecting has some toy cars when he's old enough!

The Favours

As the sisters cousins, ifie and I were in charge of party give-aways. We were to multi-products store and got some glass jars, themed-chocolate balls made the insides,  stickers we created and printed at the copy shop and ribbon to seal the deal!

The Mum-To-be

I have to say it again! I've never seen a more beautiful mum-to-be! I love you and my Nephew! :-D
p.s. She is the biggest Beyonce fan in the world so guess who's happy that Beyonce is preggers as well!


The Guests/  The Smiles/ The Laughter

Just so you'll see how the shower went, I have a "few" pictures.... LOL! Lumped into collages to enable me squeeze in more! haha! This baby is sooo going to be loved! He doesn't even know how much is in store for him.

p.s. Did you spot the suya and the chin chin! And the ladies posing with the bride were the winners of the Baby Shower Games!


The Presents

Heck I want to have a shower too. Too many gifts. lol. Can I just lie I'm having a baby and get some nice things delivered to my place? lool
