A few weeks ago, the year 2013 seemed so far away. Felt like it would never come. What with all the 'End of the World' predictions et al.
I believe I had the best cross-over ever this year. The love, the family and the hope for the New Year and rightly so... I'm blogging from Dundee...Yup! After the bumps and ditches, I am doing my Master's in International Business and Finance. Everyone goes, It's cold and all, I said 'Whatever! I'm Canadian' or so I thought. The cold in London hit me HARD! Coming from 32 Degrees, it was a huge shocker. The most annoying part was that it was only 2 Degrees, not even cold in Canada. So I guess I'm not Canadian anymore...I'm Nigerian! woop!
Dundee is amazing, a little quiet but I believe this is what I need right now. Loads of Nigerians I hear but I was late to school so I havent seen too many. I lie! I sat in my first class and a girl comes up to me and asks, "Where are you from?" I go, "Nigeria" She goes, "I guessed, I'm Nigerian too" and proceeded to introduce herself. I love US! We just congregate no matter where we are. I feel the eyes on me from all the black people as I walk past and when I'm in class unconsciouly, I speak with my Canadian accent so I guess it throws people off. If they only knew how Nigerian I was.
It's amazing to be in school mode once more. I admit, I became very lazy mentally and a tad bit unambitious. I think I needed a break from my psychotic need to plan my life. It became an I-dont-care mode. I can't update you on all the happenings in my life. But now that I'm confined to this little city, let's just say I'm back to blogging.

Ijeoma, I stumbled upon your blog today and I read as far as I could and stopped somewhere in 2011.
You're one hyperactive girl especially with your salute photos and all. But you are appear to be a genuinely nice person. I wonder what a day with you will be like!
Best wishes to you in your endeavours.

You "kanedians" and your accent, I laugh half the time when I hear my sister talk in that accent.
